In a large portion of Africa, once a child is born prematurely, the mother is responsible for much of the frail baby's daily care in the hospital. She must pay for and bring the baby's food, medications, and other essential needs to the hospital each day. She must pay for the day's cost of care ahead of time. Suppose she is already responsible for caring for young children or an elderly family member back home. In that case, she must decide which to prioritize with her time, energy,resources, and finances.
Early Lift is a nonprofit organization helping mothers and families in Africa who have a hospitalized premature newborn while in hospital and after discharge.

We provide essentials such as food, clothing, financial assistance, at home support, sharing the good news of Jesus and helping to find income raising oportunities for the family.
